Local Tourist Attractions Around Temagami

The Temagami area is considered the adventure vacation capital of Ontario. With many things for the whole family to see and do from backcountry canoe trips to petting zoos, from trophy fishing to museums, there is lots to do and a lot of fun to be had.

All this adventure and relaxation is in a setting more beautiful than most people can imagine. The landscape in the Temagami area is very scenic. Large outcroppings of Canadian Shield Rock along with towering White, Black and Jack pines shadow the many lakes and rivers. Wildlife like Moose, Black Bear, Fisher, Martin, Otters and Beavers are common animals to see.
